Buøy IL was one of 40 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Selvaag Bolig Cup 2018. They participated with two teams in Gutter født 2011 3er and Gutter født 2007 - Gruppe 2 respectively.
In addition to this, Buøy IL have participated in Selvaag Bolig Cup before. During Selvaag Bolig Cup 2017, Buøy had one team playing in Guttelag (født 2007) Nivå 2. Buøy comes from hundvåg which lies approximately 2 km from Stavanger, where Selvaag Bolig Cup takes place. The area around hundvåg does also provide 36 additional clubs participating during Selvaag Bolig Cup 2018 (Among others: Staal Jørpeland IL, Hinna, Hundvåg, Vaulen, Forus og Gausel, Vidar, Staal Jørpeland, BRODD G10, Brodd Fotballklubb Stavanger and Hinna IL- Fotball).
